A typical day.

The day would begin with devotions on the beach in front of the hotel. I had a little part in that, helping lead the group in some songs.

Then we would go to the First Baptist Church of Santa Cruz for lunch.

Then we would go to Sepetiba, where our work took place.

We divided up into four teams: Bible School, Soccer, Puppets/Drama, and Door-to-door Evangelism. I was on the Bible School team. First, we would have storytelling using a felt board.

Then it was coloring time.

At the end, we would give out gifts to the children. Then it was time for dinner...

At McDonald's.
